Club Hallam fitness suite - Is it a good place?

Recommended Posts

Hi camouflage, I'm one of the instructors at Club Hallam, yeah a bit biased I know, but it really is a crackin gym. Membership is pretty cheap AND there’s a 241 membership offer at the moment (only runs till the end of the month). Membership includes all gym access, classes and hire of courts and halls for b'minton, squash, PT etc.

Now is the best time to get in because its quiet as the students have all gone home for the summer. If you come down now and make use of the bogof deals you can get settled in so that when the students come back it'll seem like its your gym that their joining (rather than you joining theirs).

Thanks for the staffing complement, its good to see that we're making a good impression. All of our staff are well trained with numerous qualifications and many are studying sports related degrees which obviously adds to the service. Exercise programmes are free to all members and many of the staff are trained to deal with specialist populations so we can deal with a wide range of health and fitness issues.

I've put a link in below for you to check out but if you have any questions let me know.

Club Hallam is not a bad gym at all , there is treadmills and machine weights at collegiate campus. Also there is a few Free Weights . They do have boxercise and aerobics classes etc and also a few martial arts.

I have attended the Kickboxing classes there which are taught by a local kickboxing champion called Farhad.

More information about his club is on :

Apparently if you are a member you get access to FREE kickboxing classes (only during term time mind you).So I am considering buying a membership mainly for that reason. It will be a big saving for me as I normally go to those classes in his gym anyway.
