RJRB
So has anybody taken up the game this year? The season is in full swing now,but as commented above most teams are continually looking for new blood. It's a great game for all ages, and provides a social side combined with gentle exercise and can be as competitive as you want to make it. There are good parks greens all around Sheffield as well as private clubs.A pair of woods will last you a lifetime and cost from £25 for second hand ones to £70 for good new ones. It's a sport where ladies can more than compete with men and octogenarians can continue at the highest levels. Get out in the fresh air and give it a go .
