alchresearch
At work in the workshop listening to Mark and Lard. They interrupted the programme with news and we instantly switched on the TV to see the second plane hit a few moments later. I remember driving home from work and went via the airports and it was very eerie to see everything grounded and silent.

Nodens
I'd just got home from work to see a neighbour's son running around our road like a headless chicken. As he ran over to me, I wondered what the hell to expect - I thought he'd gone doolali. "They've bombed America", he said. "It's World War Three, I'll be called up. I'm an army reservist, I'll be sent to war". "What's happened", I said. "Go and look on the telly", he replied, "it's World War Three, it's started". I switched on the TV in time to see the plane crash into the second tower - it was unreal.
