She lived at 41 Brompton Road with siblings Bill, Ted, Ernest, Mildred and Maurice. 41 was in the corner yard between Brompton Road and Clay Street. Yes his Name was John Baker, but he,s 18 months younger than me . He will be 70 in december. Do you remeber the air raid shelter in the school yard & the water tank. We used to skip do hand stands & play marbles. You may have been in Lilley Wentworth,s class she was older than me,Pat Williamson married Harry Moeises, there was a Jean Cross she lived on clay street, & you must remember Audrey Tomlinson, she became Ricky Lee, she all way,s had a good voice, I remember her passing for the Sheffield school choir.:banana: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
