thecliffe
Miss Woral lived with another teacher a miss----- Miss Woral, all way,s dressed in masculin clothe,s. We were inocent in those day,s. I think she came to Maltby Street around 1949 so she had a good run at that school. I will all way,s remember her making me stand infront of the class,& telling me to say my twelve time,s table, she knew dame well that I couldnt say it. Talk about mental cruelty. Worall had an evil streak I think....a classic example of ruling with fear......not a good environment for learning.

thecliffe
I remember Eric Evans...........I think he came to Maltby street school first as a relief teacher then stayed. As I remember him he was a very smart man with brown thick soled shiny shoes. I left in 1962.
