Francess Posted September 14, 2009 Share Posted September 14, 2009 Hi My names Carly i'm the granddaughter of Hazel Jarvis my mum was born in 1965 on Westbury St. Im wanting to find out a bit more about my grandma's life growing up so can anyone remember her or her sisters christine and elaine? she went to woodbourne road school and whitby road school and i think her best friend was a girl called vera. I'm also wanting to know if anybody has any information on a man called Derek who my grandma courted. All I know is that he lived above a newsagent on Nidd Road which his mum and dad owned. chimay Posted October 24, 2009 Share Posted October 24, 2009 My grandparents lived on Westbury Street until about 1965 when my nan died. My grand-dad moved nearer to my uncle. My aunts Chris and Elaine are both Very well my mum passed away last year with Alzheimer's Disease. We moved from westbury st in about 1967 I think?
