It was reported upon in the star. it is with great sadness that i have to announce that ray chisell ( uncle ray ) passed away saturday 15/10/2010 . His funeral is at st patricks , sheffield lane top on thursday 28/10/2010 at 11.00. andyh29 Posted October 25, 2010 Share Posted October 25, 2010 did he used to go in the park hotel and work away on the power stations for envirocor about 30 years ago . if its the same man i remember him and his wife had died . in those days his pal was joe smedley who was older . I worked at the Park Hotel 25 years ago and if its the Ray I'm thinking of ( he was always very smart and used to go on long bike rides) He was an absolute gentlemen. RIP Ray and God bless you.
