goldenfleece
The police advised us to close but nothing was happening outside the Bankers Draft or in the Square.....but better safe than sorry I guess....think it was all kicking off in other locations..no footie idiots in Broomhill either.... Darth Vader
Well who'd have thought it eh? On a Friday night, after a derby, when one team has lost. If fans are going to behave like dicks after a match and some beers then in future all derbies should be played 11am on a Sunday morning. Of course everyone knows that. One word; SKY. SiSiSi
It sounds as though things were blown out of all proportion as usual.

slimsid2000
So is it over now? Can we expect more trouble tonight or is that it until the next derby game?
Jared
Only going on what the Police said, they mentioned riot vans and the works!! Yeah they were out but there was no trouble and west st was the quietest it had ever been on a Friday. 1 copper out for every half a dozen people. Complete overkill and a waste of tax payers' money. Whoever made the decision to have the match on a Friday night should be sacked in my opinion. It hit all city centre bars hard on what should have been their second busiest night of the week.
