Up for some hardcore heavy shindig? Then come down next tuesday for this gig!

ARTS GOT A GUN - http://www.myspace.com/artsgotagun

Sheffield's Arts Got a Gun are clearly angry young men with an edge. Their musical skulduggery is a ferocious beast combining elements of punk, hardcore, Nirvana, and post pub alley fighting. Not easy to dismiss and unnerving in its appeal the three tracks compiled on this demo swagger and threaten at the same time... Not to be messed with or taken lightly."

-Sandman Magazine, December '08

"In an era where the majority of music sounds the same, the introduction to ‘Roger Podacter Is Dead’ is one of the most refreshing I have heard in a long time. Kicking off with a great riff, when it all kicks off, all you want is to be in the crowd hearing this live. For me this is reason enough to love this band. On top of all of that, these guys have a set of songs that all have high-points. Ultimately this leads to a great live set, the likes of which has really been missing from the sheffield scene."

THE ROYALTY MUST DIE - http://www.myspace.com/trmduk

One of the best new bands to come out from Sheffield so far. A must watch for new hardcore shizzle! They did one of the best debuts you will ever see out from Sheffield!

DEATH OF THEIVES - http://www.myspace.com/deathoftheives

From their Biography:

Dirty, technical riffs, a pounding rhythm section and rock n’ roll vocals that are sure to get any crowd shifting, Death of Thieves are definitely one live band not to be missed. Formed in July 2006 Death of Thieves have gone from strength to strength with the release of 2 EP's and a non-stop string of shows spanning the length and breadth of the country. Their constant hard work and enthusiasm to keep moving forward has seen them land support slots with the likes of Exit Ten, Johnny Truant, Still Remains, Bossk, The Plight, Outcry Collective, Bleeding Through and many, many more.

The Autumn of 2008 saw the recording of their 2nd, self titled EP. It was tracked and mixed at dub:rek studios with Jay Dean and his trusty side kick Jim "Jimbo" Cork at the helm. The artwork accompanying the release was developed by Optimus Designs of Ted Maul, The Eyes of a Traitor and Municipal Waste fame. The EP was released in March 2009 through Fight Me Records, in addition to an iTunes release of the EP coming in Summer 2009. With more exciting developments planned, the future certainly looks bright for Death of Thieves.
