Join us for a sensational end to the month of September when we give you not one amazing headline DJ but two... Not only do we have the awesome PLUMP DJs making their way to Plug but the rather excellent talents of a certain DJ SNEAK will be joining them too for his return to the venue. Double the fun!

 

Lee Rous and Andy Gardner make up the DJ duo that is the Plumps. The lads have been producing and DJing the finest chunkiest breaks known to man since their debut release ‘Remember My Name' way back in 1999. Their sound has evolved over the last 10 years, from purist breaks to a more 4/4 friendly cross over of chopped beats and VERY heavy bass. Check ‘Electric Disco' (remixed by Sheffield legend D.Ramirez) for a taster of their newer gear. Their DJ sets are a wonder to behold too, taking the full-on energy of their productions and squeezing it all into a 2 hour set isn't easy but the boys pull if off time and time again. Headline sets across the globe from Space in Ibiza to Fabric, London and a summer tour of California proving everyone loves it a bit on the Plump side.

 

As if that wasn't enough we're adding Chi-town jackin house legend DJ SNEAK to the bill. A man who needs no introduction to the house heads of the world he's been pumping out amazing house beats since his first releases on Green Velvet's seminal labels Cajual and Relief back in 1994. Very much like Todd Terry Mr Sneak has forged a totally unique sound, so much so that when a DJ drops a Sneak tune you just know.... it's him..... tough (but fair) beats, disco filtered samples and a driving techy groove make every release a must for any house DJ. Like his co-headliners Sneak is also known as an immense DJ. Chopping, cutting and seamlessy blending tunes it's a set that has to be danced to to be fully appreciated. You'll be locked into the groove for the whole thing, start to finish.

 

Warming up as well as taking us from the Plump's sound to Sneak's beats will be the Plug resident A-Team of LJ FREEMAN and GEOFF TICEHURST. Expect a blend of tech, electro, minimal and filth from the pair, who as usual will be giving the guests a run for their money.

He's presented specialist radio shows across the airwaves, interviewed the stars and took on the finest of international dj's and now he comes back to play every week in the best city in the land, Sheffield.
