After a barnstorming set of quality house music at last week's birthday bash from UG's Alan Chapman, we move onto a celebration of one of the best house nights Sheffield has seen; we welcome Diasha head-honcho.. ALEX COOKE For years now Diasha been a real hidden gem amongst the Sheffield clubbing circuit, remaining steadfastly independent and underground throughout, thus attracting a discerning crowd of loyal and clued-up clubbers. The word 'underground' is often associated with the 'dark and dirty' side of the coin, but not so here; Diasha's sound is one of deep, lush house music. Soulful and uplifting through to percussive, electronic and anything in between, it pulls in influences from across the globe into a uniquely special vibe. Previous guests have included the likes of Atjazz, Fish Go Deep, Charles Webster, Clyde and Version, so with quality like that on the CV you know the music is gonna be HOT! Alex is one of the city's finest purveyors of house music and it's with great regret that this will be his last BIO appearance for the foreseeable. We're chuffed to bits though that he can join us for one final hurrah ahead of Diasha's big leaving party at The Earl on 9th October, so we'd love you to join us and revel in the good times. We'd like to extend our thanks & appreciation to Alex and Daniela for some wicked parties and wish them the best of luck with the big things ahead!
