Two of Brighton's best bands have teamed up to tour the UK

Mean Poppa Lean and Floors & Walls.

The first date of the Cristal & Roll-ups Tour 2009 kicks off at The Bowery in Sheffield.

Mean Poppa Lean are no strangers to Sheffield with many friends in the area, just nominated in 'The Critics Choice ' category (UK Festivals Awards 2009) for they're performance at The Great Escape and fresh from playing both V Festivals, they have to be seen to be believed.

he has such a distinctive style and is an established name on the sheffield art scene, that aside, his stuff rocks!

I wish I could see that! I will be going to as many dates as pos but the first I can make it too is Bloomesbury Lanes in London

The guitarist is a 6' 5" Ginge, and is not know for standing still enough for a drawing, so it should be interesting

sorry, i should have been clearer...hes not necessarily drawing the band!

 

hope its been a great night- ive been in leeds so couldnt make it.
