Frank Sidney
Hello, Im wanting to go out for a meal on Saturday evening as it's my birthday! I'm after a country pub type pub restaurant which does traditional type pub food, I quite fancy a nice steak... preferably not too far to travel (I'm in s5) but if it's worth it I'm not too bothered about the distance. I've been to the Old Irons Inn at Bradfield which was always nice but 'tend to go there in the afternoons so wondering about other places, a couple of nice places in Wentworth apparently but not sure food wise..... any suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks! rosaespanola
The Plough at Low Bradfield is pretty good for food, as is the Ladybower Inn (next to Ladybower, unsurprisingly!).

Julius
The Red Lion at Litton. Good food and a real proper country pub.
Frank Sidney
Thanks for all your suggestions, I was hoping for somewhere a little closer to cut down on travelling, so I've heard the Robin Hood at Loxley is supposed to be nice, along with one at Wentworth I can't remember the name of, so anyone been here? If so would like your opinions, thanks.
