There is some fantastic comedy on offer starting today with 2 fantastic shows from the Edinburgh festival. Sheffield comedian Tom Wrigglesworth brings his Edinburgh award nominated show Tom Wrigglesworth's Open Return Letter to Richard Branson to the City Hall tonight. I saw it on Tuesday and it is outstanding. Highly recommended and deserved its nomination and all the 5 * reviews. Tom is definitely one of the best stand ups in country. Also Zoe Lyons brings her Miss Machismo to the Lescar. Zoe is a very funny comedian who won best joke of the Edinburgh festival last year and was in the top ten again this year so you are guaranteed to laugh. Also at the Lescar is Ladies night - whoever says women aren't funny needs to go and see how wrong they are as Karen Bayley, Lou Conran and Mel Moon will raise the roof. I am not an organiser of the Festival just a comedy fan who wants to see the festival get bigger and better each year from the support of the people from Sheffield!
