goldenfleece
brown bear without a doubt mate yeah think so, but the Bankers from time to time does 99 pence deals on Carling and stuff.....not sure if that's happened for a while though... .but regarding excessively cheap beer sold anywhere in ANY pub, bar or club, remember, the old rule always applies..you get what you pay for.....something in a glass that is 99 pence and described as Carlsberg may indeed be Carlsberg, but 'probably not the best lager in the world' you pay £4 for a pint of some designer upmarket lager on West Street, and you will indeed probably get what you pay for....and possibly 'probably the best lager in the world', but this is of course a purely personal question of taste... top4718
I would rather pay £100 for a pint than go in the Bankers Draft.

And they wont for quite awhile, they've got rid, now serve Tuborg, and the cheapest is in The Swim. Been told that Yates is cheap, so that might attract the Wetherspoons day drinking crowd. Had a great pint of Gorlovka and also some Jaipur yesterday afternoon, a bargain at £1.85 a pint:)
