Renowned for their live shows, their songs are both arresting and sublime. 'Wonderfully lush mixture of simple pop-orientated folk, gorgeous melodies and some sublime harmonies. These boys have got star quality!

The band consists of an ornithologist, a rusty russian translator, a South African pirate captain, and a kitchen sink. They were first united in a snow-encrusted garage in Oxford and have since attracted the attention of Dr & Mrs Killjoy the neighbours and their android children, two of which (Adam Briggs and Rahul Satija) now regularly join them on stage. None of the band have ever been to Stornoway. But Brian once got to within 37 miles of it.

'Maybe it needs a bunch of degrees to write songs this amazing. It doesn't require anything other than working ears to realise how special they are. 5/5 stars'

NEWS OF THE WORLD

'While the Saturday lunchtime sun beat down on the Acoustic tent, their blend of the Celtic, the English pastoral and a sprinkling of bluegrass was just the ticket...'

Glastonbury review, THE DAILY TELEGRAPH

'A stunning debut, it doesn't stint in pulling at the heartstrings thanks to unique vocals that drip with impending mortality. Awesome, in the true sense. 9/10'
