Open to everyone, not just students! The Skeletons: Conventional in their approach to songwriting and no-nonsense in execution, the band deliver songs packed with foot-stomping beats and sing-a-long choruses.There’s an underlying pop sensibility to these three-minute tracks and yet they are clearly inspired by the bluesy rock ‘n’ rollbands of yesteryear. Their first show was a small invite-only affair at Sheffield’s legendary Club 60 and in a surprisingly short space of time they have developed into one of the hottest live bands in Britain’s fifth city. Tokyo Heat: Coming down from Leeds to support is another band wearing their rock n roll lineage on their sleeves - spiky pop choruses and bouncing rhythms are the order of the day, and will no doubt work any crowd into a frenzy!
