beaubon
We are trying to trace where my Grandmother is buried in Wardsend cemetry - can anyone help? Her name was Sarah Ann (sometimes listed as Annie) Beaumont, maiden name Pontefract. Her husbands name was John Arthur Beaumont born 1887 but we cannot find his death date or where he is buried. She used to lived at 15 Dutton Road, Owlerton '1911' and 13 Royal Exchange Buildings, Lady's Bridge, Sheffield on her death. Her mother 'Ada Pontefract' had 'Ponts Shop' at 11 Dutton Road until her death in March 1952 , when Sarah's son Clifford and his wife Betty carried on trading their until 1963. Sarah was born in 1894, but we are unsure of her death date, she was alive when I was born in 1956, but we have no memories of her. Any information on Sarah or John would be welcome. We have traced all our families back to 1800, Grandma and Grandad are the only ones we are missing!
