poppypoppy Posted October 14, 2009 Share Posted October 14, 2009 Hi...myself and my dad were talking today about the little shop on the corner of Westbrook Bank and Bagshot Street nr to Huntersbar...we couldn't think what the name of the shop was...its now driving me nuts...can anyone remember the name of it please? Not important just brings back some nice childhood memories..I grew up round there...I can even picture the flaming shop in my head..but no name is springing to mind... poppypoppy Posted October 14, 2009 Author Share Posted October 14, 2009 No it probably had closed down by 1970..I was born '59' and can remember going in it with my mom...I cant remember going in it when I hit comprehensive school...which was 1970/71....Wards does ring a bell...will have to mention that name to my dad see if it jingles his memory...thanks...
