We visited Kitchen last month. Impressions and food was good on the whole. Just a couple of observations;

-we had a 5 minute wait at the door before anyone came to seat us, which isn't long but its a small place so this should be fairly instant.

-With so many hard surfaces, noise, and particularly being able to hear across a table was an issue, but again, nothing terrible.

-prices were reasonable for the food but the corkage fee at £10 was a rip off, hardly worth taking our own.

-I had dixie's three little pigs for a main which was a great dish, however the black pudding was charcoal. I raised this and we had a drink on the house which was a nice touch.

Obviously the menu changes regularly but on the night we visited the menu was very fish heavy, which I've noticed is the case with other restaurants in this price range.

So overall a good experience but the atmosphere doesn't seem quite right yet. Will be returning.
