TheBlueDragon
Hi people, I just wondered who is going to fright night? I've never been before so have no idea about it. What time it start and finish? Also is it mainly for the kids or are you aloud to get a drink etc as I once got thrown off peace gardens for having a drink
natjack
http://www.eventsheffield.co.uk/event/6612/fright-night It does get really rammed in town when it's on. There's a thread on Evenings Out about meeting up to go round.
hennypenny
My daughter and her friends want to go to Fright night, but I have never been myself. Is it a family atmosphere, or more a pub crawl atmosphere? Would it be a safe environment for 3 or 4 13 year olds on their own?

The actual Fright Night activities end at 8.30 so if you tell them to be home by 9.30, they should be quite ok. After that time, it can get a bit riotous with hyped up teens showing off. geminesse63
I usually have a walk round myself and keep in touch by phone with my girls every so often, then arrange to meet up to travel home together. Most people are happy to join in the good atmosphere but you sometimes get groups of drunken youths.
