This week's guest is a BIO debutant of the highest calibre, so we're giddy as kippers to introduce... MF MAREK Marek's a massive follower of everything Hip hop to house, and disco. Year zero he was blasting the airwaves of Sheffield pirates and was one third of the infamous Shakedown party equation playing hip hop, funk 'n' broken boogie; it used to go off!. He promoted the 'Keep in Time' parties which saw the likes of Dj Simbad pop up from London and the 'Middlewood Sessions' make their live debut and he has also played parties all over the UK, including, Notting Hill Carnival, Development in Manchester, plus many more. The local folies featured dates at 'Lights Down Low', 'Society' and 'Scuba, happily playing on the bills with the likes of Kerri Chandler, Phil Asher & Rahaan. He's also about to drop the current 'Dopeness' party to the new venue 'SAWA' next month, which will be serious house bizzle too. Of course, from the ashes of Shakedown Radio steez he's soon to be blasting out the new 'Keep In Time' radio show, forthcoming on Sheffield Live! Busy chap and we hope y'all can come down and reach this Thursday. Of course, the deepness will be added to by residents Chris Moore and Paul Growns, who'll be knocking out a tune or two in support of the main man. Proper. Can I just say, the track I'm mostly obsessed with this week is Recloose's mix of 'Far Beyond' by the Sunburst Band. Although that might change by time I have a root round t'internet tonight!
