Guest
when I was young I remember messin with a back molar in bed, it wasn't wobbly, I was pushing it around, then suddenly it popped out. had a gaping hole for ages until the big tooth came through! medusa
I know someone who has done this in the past, but who now has ongoing problems with abscesses because the last part of the roots didn't come out, so they have stopped doing it and started going to the dentists instead. Cat86
My grandad does. Hes 70, tough as an old boot.. phoned him not long back, to hear him say ''one minute duck, mouth full off blood'' *pause for a few minutes'' 'sorry, back tooths been bothering me for days''. In honesty, i dont know how he could stand it.. Ive had 4 out at charles clifford (too many teeth), and its put me off even visiting the dentist for a very long - agony for the top 2 as not enough anesthetic, and just really unpleasant for the bottom 2. I think my grandad, although far from poor, would resent paying a dentist. he just grabs his plyers and gets on with it. I couldnt.
Aries22
Think that's what people did before we had dentist's on the National Health Service.
millhouses24
1. Take a slug of whisky, Pimms, whatever takes your fancy. 2. String around tooth. 3. Other end of string around car. 4. Close eyes very tightly and pray if not atheist. If atheist, take another slug of alcohol. 5. Car drives off. Seriously, in the nicest possible way, I would recommend going to the dentist rather than trying to do a DIY job. Health is priceless.

laineyiow
I remember when I was very young having wobbly teeth and twisting and pushing them until they came out. Could only do it with milk teeth though. Second teeth a definite no, no!
