Frayava
I used to teach at Shiregreen School from around 1977 to about 1983 as my first teaching job. Knew all the families very well: good and bad. Still see lots of them around town / attercliffe. Seeing the size of some of them now I was glad that I was fair with them when they were kids! Families I remember include Myers. Rowdings, Shentalls, Innocent, Matthews, Liversedge

poppins
My mum is compiling a book about life on the flower in the 1950s and 60s when she was growing up. She would like people who lived there to share there photos and memories with her for this book ,thanks. I knew a girl called Vallerie that lived on that Estate in the 60s, never knew her last name but she married a boy I liked very much`, Vallerie was the chosen one, his name was Terry Cox,sadly I heard he died a couple of years ago.
