CHAIRBOY Posted August 21, 2006 Share Posted August 21, 2006 I am sure that 'Big Ada', as she was fondly referred to, sold flowers at the top of Dixon Lane. Does anyone else remember this lady? Mention Dixon Lane and I would suggest "Big Ada" springs to mind of many people in the 50's when the market at the bottom was outdoors. I remember her by name but didn't know her.
