We've got it all, the Live angle covered by the currently super hot JAPANESE POPSTARS (Nominated for BEST LIVE ACT at the DJmag Awards 2009), the electro and house angle covered by CASSETTE JAM and the breaks, beats and musical treats covered by the awesome Stantons themselves - with a mind bending 3hr set for our pleasure.

 

The Warriors are a not only an amazing DJ duo who blend beats with live layered samples, effects and generally re-edit on the go, but also an award winning production and remix duo too - Mark Yardley & Dominic B truly are club superstars. With their eclectic past drawing on some traditional sounds of underground house, hip hop, electro and funk, the guys have mixed up the old and the new and come out with something bigger than the sum of its parts, namely the Stanton sound... they've carefully honed a distinct sound that carves up dance floors through four corners of the world sounding fresh and bringing something new to the party every time. With 3hrs to play with tonight, this is going to be one hell of a ride.

 

Joining them on deck duty will be Shuffle returnees Cassette Jam. The duo have been steadily building a name for themselves since they first burst onto the scene after winning the residency competition for Liverpool's Cream. Playing on 4CDJ's the guys smashed it last time at Plug so it's with great pleasure we welcome them back for another journey through electro, tech and damn right filthy house.

 

Completing the bill are the wonderfully named Japanese Popstars, who'll be treating us to one of their much talked about live shows. Not Japanese, and you could say not really popstars yet either, they're actually from Ireland. Consisting of three DJ/producers with number one records in the US & Australia and a host of live appearances under their belt, The Popstars are a force to be reckoned with - and having played at numerous festivals and club venues over the summer they've fine tuned a belter of a live show. Shuffle get ready.....

'Floorfillers brings its Saturday night formula straight into the venue for more weekend escapism.

 

Chris Bibby having played at some of the UK's major nights drops in his unflinching acumen to ensure the floors are whipped into a frenzy throughout the evening.

 

At Shuffle he will be dropping the biggest dance anthems selected from the best years of your life, mashed up to the bangers of now:

 

Dizzee meets Pendulum, Deadmau5 rubs up to David Guetta, whilst Calvin breaks down into Faithless, Darude and the Prodigy.

 

He's presented specialist radio shows across the airwaves, interviewed the stars and took on the finest of international dj's and now he comes back to play every week in the best city in the land, Sheffield.
