Guest
Try Rother Valley Country Park, its always lovely when its warm, you only have to pay a couple of quid for parking, or nothing if you walk, and you can have as lovely walk or a bbq. annaO
yorkshire sculpture park. it's just up the motorway, m1, off at huddersfield junction. parking is £3, and they ask for donations, apart from that - free! long walks/sit in sun and read/drink/picnic. there's a cafe there too. went last sunday for exactly sam reason as you - to do something in the sun not expensive! have a nice day! mrchinnery
I went to Rother valley this morning. I had a sail on a Wayfarer. I had a smashing time but my head is a bit red now. I parked on the side near Direct Cars; there is no parking fee there. If you want to travel by tram, get off just before it and walk along the long straight road to the east ( towards the pylons) then turn left at the end of the road.
