Shuffle & Club Pony presents Yuksek DJ Set + Joe & Will Ask? (Live) + Duke Dumont + Run Hide Survive + Up & Atom

Shuffle collides head on with one of Sheffield's best underground nights this weekend for what will be a proper good rave up. CLUB PONY tethers itself to Plug for the night to bed down with a cracking line-up of French genius YUKSEK, boy wonder DUKE DUMONT and the super cool JOE AND WILL ASK?

Headlining, and returning to Shuffle after smashing it last time is Parisian electro dude Yuksek. Still riding high after his February released debut LP ‘Away from the Sea', he's very much in tune with the Gallic sound. Much like peers Mehdi, Busy P and the mighty Justice, it's the sense of fun allayed to the beats that keeps things interesting, epitomised by the lead single ‘Tonight'. But don't think for a second the guy is soft on the floor.

The howling intensity of ‘I Like to play' and the chopped up stutter of ‘Deladeu 2' are two cases in point, proving why DJs as wide ranging as Andrew Weatherall, Laurent Garnier and Ivan Smagghe have been fans, not to mention the electro jet set. As a DJ he brings this vibe like no other, rocking dirty beats in and out of synth driven techno monsters for a furious bombardment of grin inducing hedonism. It blew us away last time....bring it on again....

Next up is Duke Dumont - a very mysterious man. He's growing a beard, that much is certain... other than that he produces awesome house music, remixing all kinds of superstars - Lily Allen, Bat for Lashes, Mystery Jets and Late of the Pier have all been touched up by the Duke. DJ-wise he's rocked it all over the UK, and returns to Club Pony once again to show how a Duke should really party.

Completing the bill will be Joe and Will Ask? The guys are from very different musical backgrounds so their name really describes their desire to constantly explore genres of music, and represent their different influences within their DJ sets

They started collaborating in 2007, and almost immediately drew attention from local DJs at respected nights in London such as Trash, as well as club promoters and indie labels. Their residencies at underground club nights soon moved into playing at some of the hottest nights in the capital; Matter, Trailer Trash, Durrr, Scala, Ministry of Sound and the Egg to name a few

Meanwhile their own productions have been equally well received. Coming across with dirt and cutting edge production and an eye firmly on the dance floor, but also with effortless musicality not normally associated with techno, they win over fans from the indie scene, as easily as diehard clubbers. Being compared to Soulwax and the Chemical Brothers already just goes to show how hot these guys already are. Catch them now!

Completing the line-up are Pony residents RUN HIDE SURVIVE and UP AND ATOM who'll be bringing all the usual house flavours from disco to tech, minimal, electro, old skool and everything inbetween. Hotness right from the word go.

'Floorfillers brings its Saturday night formula straight into the venue for more weekend escapism.

Chris Bibby having played at some of the UK's major nights drops in his unflinching acumen to ensure the floors are whipped into a frenzy throughout the evening.

At Shuffle he will be dropping the biggest dance anthems selected from the best years of your life, mashed up to the bangers of now:

Dizzee meets Pendulum, Deadmau5 rubs up to David Guetta, whilst Calvin breaks down into Faithless, Darude and the Prodigy.

He's presented specialist radio shows across the airwaves, interviewed the stars and took on the finest of international dj's and now he comes back to play every week in the best city in the land, Sheffield.
