njconnal Posted November 18, 2009 Share Posted November 18, 2009 Explosive hardcore punk band Gallows have added a date to their winter tour... The Foundry on December 6th 2009. As one of the best, most lively bands around- this is going to be brilliant... this is going to be huge. Expect a lively, sweaty downright chaotic gig. Since Gallows stormed into our lives with their standout performance at SXSW in 2007, Frank Carter and his band have gone from strength to strength. Their debut album ‘Orchestra Of Wolves,’ with tracks such as ‘In The Belly Of A Shark’ and ‘Abandon Ship’ drew attention from across the genres, with both Kerrang and NME hailing them as one of the best new bands- In 2007 they won best British new comer in Kerrang, and in the same year NME crowded outspoken frontman the coolest man on the planet. This year Gallows released their second album ‘Grey Britain,’ which Carter says is about the social, political and economical state of the country. After touring America with AFI, Gallows will begin a relatively intimate tour of the UK at the end of November. Spy Catcher and Sharks will be supporting at The Foundry gig, plus one more very special guest to be announced soon- completing an amazing line-up.
