The Velvet Burlesque Christmas Eve Party & Cabaret Show Christmas Eve - Thursday 24th December 2009 7.30pm - 12.30am (Doors open at 7.30pm - first act/performance 8.30pm) The Embassy Mansfield Road Intake Sheffield S12 2AG Our CABARET-PARTY EVENTS give YOU the audience not only the chance to Dance, Socialise and Party, but also experience an EXTRAVAGANZA of fabulous Burlesque & Vaudeville style Cabaret acts hosted at intervals throughout the evening. Presented in a classy “Art-Deco” style Club venue, let us welcome you into an exciting, glamorous atmosphere for a night of unique variety entertainment! We have many requests from people as to whether they would be able to attend any of our Cabaret Show/Party events as they are "single", and many places only seem to cater for couples or groups etc. at this time of year. A lot of single people (ourselves included!) may often feel pushed out due to this, and it can be hard finding somewhere that you feel comfortable enough to go where there are a good mix of people, and a lively party event to enjoy. The answer is YES - singles (alongside couples and larger groups) are more than welcome to come along to any of our Cabaret Show and Party events, where you will find a safe, welcoming and fun party atmosphere with which to enjoy the festive season! There`s no need to be stuck inside at home feeling alone - come along and join in the fun/festivities! Please dress to impress! A chance to wear your finery, flash your gems and put on your dancing shoes! Full act/performer details to be updated asap! You could win a handblocked felt hat in a colour of your choice!!!! With the launch of the handblocked felts planned for the New Year, I'm in a quandry as to which is my favourite shape...so I'm putting it you lovely people to let me know your favourite. All you have to do is send an email to imogens.imagination@yahoo.co.uk stating which option you prefer and I will make the draw on the 14th December. I'm also opening this competition up to shoppers at the Sheffield and Manchester fairs over the next 2 weekends, so if you can't decide from the photos....come and try them on! The lucky winner will be contacted by email to confirm their winning status and receive a hat of their shape choice and colour in the New Year. L.x. oh blimming heck...lara, i cant do that one either! lol ive got a vintage wedding fair in harrogate on the 14th so ive already arranged to stay at a friends in leeds on the 13th to reduce my travelling time on the sunday! im so going to have to have every burlesque night in 2010 in my diary in january if im going to make any at this rate! the photos from the halloween bash looked fantastic and everybody seemed to be having such a great time i know youre going to have 2 corkers over the festive period. thanks for the heads up though...now, what have you got planned for september 2010? x Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
