Solomon1
If I Could Live My Life Over Again If I had my chance to live my life over again I would dare to make more mistakes next time. I’d relax. I’d limber up. I’d be sillier than I’ve been this trip. I‘d take fewer things seriously. I‘d take more chances. I‘d take more trips. I‘d climb up more mountains, swim more rivers. I‘d eat more ice cream and less beans. I‘d perhaps have more troubles, but I‘d have fewer imaginary ones. You see, I’m one of those people who live seriously and sanely hour after hour, day after day. Oh, I‘ve had my moments. And if I had to do it over again, I‘d have more of them. In fact, I‘d try to have nothing else just moments one after another, instead of living so many years ahead of each day. I‘ve been one of those persons who never goes anywhere without a thermometer, a hot water bottle, a raincoat and a parachute. If I had to do it again, I‘d travel lighter than I have. If I had to live my life over, I‘d start barefoot earlier in the spring and stay that way later in autumn. I‘d go to more dances. I‘d ride more merry-go-rounds. I‘d pick up more daisies. Babooshka
Do songs count? I love poetry and words, but some songs are often apt. 'I can say goodbye in the morning light but I can't watch love die in the warmth of the night. Touch me in the morning, then just close the door, leave me as you found me, empty as before. Wasn't it yesterday we used to laugh at the wind behind us? Didn't we run away and hope that time wouldn't try to find us? Didn't we take each other to places where no-one's ever been? I really need you near me tonight, 'cause you'll never take me there again. Let me watch you go with the sun in my eyes We have seen how love can grow...now we'll see how it dies'
jobee
Jobee, your poems are very poor. yes, you've told me that before, you are very repetitive. Have another go at writing one, I'll be a fair critic. I'm getting big hits on Liverpool forum and Scotland forum . http://www.yoliverpool.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=115 http://www.scotland.com/forums/poets-corner/

millhouses24
To this point is my mind reduced by your fault, my girl, and has so ruined itself by its own devotion, that now it can neither wish you well though you should become the best of women, nor cease to love you though you do the worst that can be done.
