helenb Posted November 25, 2009 Share Posted November 25, 2009 The steel city has seen some fierce rivalry on the football pitch - now Kevin Blackwell and Brian Laws are going to play out a battle of the minds. The two managers have agreed to take part in a special charity edition of the long running quiz A Question of South Yorkshire Sport, organised by BBC Radio Sheffield. They'll be joined by Radio Sheffield's Paul Walker and Seth Bennett, plus two other special sporting guests. Quizmaster will be Look North's Harry Gration. All money raised will go towards the BBC Sheffield Kids' Scanner Appeal for the Children's Hospital in Sheffield, and you can be part of this unique event. It takes place at the Pennine Lecture Theatre at Sheffield Hallam University on Thursday 10th December. Tickets are free but a donation of at least £5 is being requested per ticket. Doors open at 7.30pm for a recording that starts at 8.15pm and the entire show will be broadcast on Radio Sheffield the following weekend, on Sunday 13th December at 1pm.
