Vague_Boy
I'll have to look out for him next time I pass that way. The car park never seems to get much use when I've been past it. The occasional taxi during the day, waiting to be sent off for his next fare, not much else.
Elphi 24
Probably makes it on those who are clamped and good for them - why should a small business pay exhorbitant lease and rates etc to subsidise those who dont want to pay for parking. As someone who lives locally I'm sick and tired of my drive being blocked by park and riders for the tram. Whilst a road is a road and anyone legitimately paying road tax can park on the road I also have the right to park, if appropriate, right up to their bumper with my husband at the other side ... happyhippy
It has had a pay and display meter for a few weeks, and the charge is refunded on the first round bought in the pub. The church across the road has parking restrictions as well, so people parking there should be wary!
