But do you know any alternative names the locals give or had given your pub and do you know why? I swallownest there were two pubs: Oak inn - Maggies Swallownest Inn - Siddalls. The Manor Social Cub was always t'Middle Club and the Arundel ex-servicemen's Club was "'t bottom Club The crown and ?cushion? at Stannington (or is it the crown and Glove?
