Very Special Guest DJ Mark Jones (Store records etc) Dopeness@ SAWA Friday 18th December 10pm - 3am Free entry Hey all, we moving into that party season again, so we want to bring the dope soundtrack and get you in the spirit. Following Novembers party in the superb space @ SAWA we return with super special guest and Sheffield music legend DJ Mark Jones. Plenty of you out there will be familiar with the name but for those who aren't Mark played a really important role in Sheffield's Underground music scene. Dj'ing regularly over the years at the 'Wax Lyrical','NY Sushi', 'Phonetics' and 'Tuesday Club' parties to name a few, also running dope nights like 'The Store' (not bad eh). The sets always delivered at parties taking in the dopeness flavours, hip hop, house, techno, soul, funk, bruk 'n' boogie. Can't forget to mention that Mark ran one heck of a record shop, also called 'The Store' which always housed the gems you were looking for, well missed. Last couple of years in Sheffield, Mark was holding it down Latino style at Cabanas, where it did royally go off every week So its fair to say. 18th December is a date for your diaries. Dj support from Dopeness Kollektiv dj's Dj S-Unit (dopeness) tell 10 friends and they'll tell friends and so on and so on and on!
