Ousetunes
By day, no question. All that's of interest by night is town beneath you and the road lights leading into and out of Sheffield. You can see how much certain roads, the A61 for example bend round but once you've seen it the ride becomes a bore (and I should know; I was on it for 1/2 hour for one of my daughter's birthday. By the 20th revolution I told the guys to bring us down!). In the daytime it's much better and the view - and the greenery - is most impressive. Also, there are shoppers beneath your feet and a general buzz in town. And the VIP capsule is little better than the rest although the floor is see-through - again, more use during a daytime ride than at night. Lorri
I've done both and yes I think daytime is better (although it was good seeing all the Christmas lights in the dark). Try and choose a clear non-windy day if you can
Nightcast22
I went on the Sheffield eye in the dark and I really enjoyed it. It was nice and peaceful. I would go on it again in the day though.

shefboy1
I think its £6.50 for adults and £1.00 for children, although you get a 10% discount if you book it online.
