giddygoat Posted December 27, 2009 Share Posted December 27, 2009 In the 70's, there was a smallish shop in (I think) Market Place, Sheff city centre - continuation of High St - I think it was before Bell's jeweller's, on the left as you were walking down High St towards the cinema (not far from where Argos is now.) It was a ladies clothes shop, and used to sell furs too, and sheepskin coats.. pleeeeease someone, remember what it was called? I've been trying to remember for about 2 yrs! I hate giving up You can almost see the shop on 'A Sheffield Camera' - JR Wrigley, page 17, but that's a little earlier than your date, and it looks like it perhaps says Tobacconist.
