Be carefull in Hillsborough Park - it's slippy due to ice

iv walked through there this morning with the dog an my son an its like an ice rink my son fell over a few times an even the dog was sliding i ended up walking on the grass that was boggy an come home with dog poo alll over my bootss an up my jeans so becarefull when walking through there its dangerous at the moment

I was there yesterday afternoon, it was terrible, we also found the path so slippy we had to walk on the snow soaked grass. This wasn't the problem, we were dressed for the mud, however, I was shocked at the amount of dog poo. I walk regular around there and I've noever noticed it before. We were covered when we got back... not pleasent!

It was that bad on my road (Hawksley Avenue) yesturday, that it took me 15 minutes to get to the top.... Even the road was Icey, I just had to had on to the railings while walking very slowly.

Normally people are pretty good at picking it up,but for some reason when it snows they don't bother.

we live on overton and we were going to have a walk on wadsley common on boxing day but we only got as far as the gennel up the side of marlcliffe school, it was just like an ice rink and we couldn't get up the gennel!!! kids thought it was fun tough :hihi:

The whole of the surrounding area was like an ice rink on boxing day TBH.
