rubydazzler
I always stay at home and avoid going to some crummy pub that's actually going to try and charge me an entrance fee then expect me to buy booze. Secondly the crummy pub is generally full of crummy people you don't see at any other time of the year and they are generally rude and continually elbow you in the ribs as you wait in a queue(?) 10 people deep at the bar for about 30 minutes. Happy new Year.Do you actually ever manage to make any lemonade with those lemons? HAPPY NEW YEAR, all people!!

Mecky
Do you actually ever manage to make any lemonade with those lemons? HAPPY NEW YEAR, all people!! Yes I do, but you have to draw a line somewhere. Going to the pub on Christmas and New Years Eve is an exceedingly trashy thing to do.

Mecky
:huh:Why is it? Because going to pub at these times is what a lot of people in the UK do and being like everyone else is simply not good enough.
