I used to prefer to go for meals and drinking at napoleons casino on Ecclesall Road and the Owlerton naps I liked for a more hardcore gambling night. It isn't Grosvenor anymore, it is the new brand of G casino, about 10X bigger, 50 seat bar, 50 seat restaurant, sports TV area with leather couches and 4 screens for footy etc, dedicated poker room seats 100 (games 7 nights + cash games) and 11 gaming tables. Open 24 hrs, hot food 12.00pm-6.30am and alcohol 12pm-6am, free entry and free to join. As well as live entertainment every Friday and Saturday, this Friday was Roy Hemmings formerly of the drifters!
