I'm already involved with my local music scene and have a website with profiles for 33 local (and not so local bands) and i've done some local gigs before so i just wanted to know which bars/clubs/pubs/venues might be looking for someone to help with organising gigs? thanx *sory if this is in the wrong forum* Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

carcrash Posted July 19, 2005 Share Posted July 19, 2005 The main places that put gigs on are The Grapes, The Boardwalk, The Cricketers, The Earl, Leadmill, Deep End, The Howard, The Casbah, Corparation. Some places are private hire which you are not really allowed to advertise. These are places like Brincliffe oaks, Bar Abbey, Mappin Street. There are a few other places that put bands on from time to time but they seem to put on blues/covers bands. PM me if you want more info or contact details.
