Amsterdamned
The main places that put gigs on are The Grapes, The Boardwalk, The Cricketers, The Earl, Leadmill, Deep End, The Howard, The Casbah, Corparation. The Deep End's been shut ages... There's also Under The Boardwalk, or have a look at the local guide on the forum at http://www.sheffieldsounds.com

Solstice
Redhouse is totally free - with sound engineer, pa and mics. Its only a small venue, but that can be good. You'll have to book in advance though cause it gets booked up quickly. Theres quite a few international touring bands that book nights to play. The myspace is redhousesheffield.
