I see there's been an interesting policy change announced on Junleague website and that is that for next season the league will follow F.A recommendations to move to 9 a side for under 11's.

I can see this proving problematic logistically, take my lad for example as he would be that age and his team this season will have around 18 players to choose from to play two 7 a side games.

So will they have to ditch around 6 players, or find another 4 in time for next season.

Also, where are 9 a side pitches to be found?

This is one that seems a good idea in principle, but one that doesn't appear to have been thought through properly and one that may have been better being introduced the season after to give clubs time to prepare for it.

You use the junior 11 aside pitches for the 9 aside games, that's the whole idea to give them more space and time on the ball.
