Feel the future...Bum the past...Here comes 2010

HomoElectric shall sashay into a new decade on the first Friday of February. As ever we will be taking over the basements of the Legends nightclub complex with many rooms of music, mayhem & mischievousness. In the Piano Bar a selection of local heroes will play their desert island discs from one deck. Joining our excellent residents Will Tramp! & Jamie Bull will be the following musical maestros:

– DUKE DUMONT -

Duke Dumont (real name Adam Dyment) won the Diesel U Music Award in 2006 putting him amongst a lineage of previous winners such as Mylo, DJ Yoda and Infadels. Since then he has gone on to release music on some of the underground dance scene’s most revered labels such as Tiga’s Turbo label and Switch’s Dubsided imprint as well as a string of remixes for what looks like a who's who list of the indie & pop world including: Missy Elliot, The Mystery Jets, Bat For Lashes, Lily Allen & the recently reformed Skunk Anansie.

– DAN BEAUMONT (Disco Bloodbath) -

We play host to the Dan Beaumont (Disco Bloodbath). Bloodbath is a legendary monthly party located in deepest Dalston in East London. Such is their reputation they have taken their dancefloor magic to Bugged Out, Secret Sundaze, Horse Meat Disco, Fabric, The Big Chill, Matter & Trailer Trash. More recently they have begun a foray into production alongside Ben Rymer (Gucci Soundsystem/DFA/Fat Truckers) with remixes of the likes of Franz Ferdinand, White Lies, The Aliens and more.
