Ousetunes
Manzil in Broomhill is a good take-away. We have our regular curry delivered from Manzil and I have to say it has been consistently good. Jamuna, which was round the corner on Glossop Road was also very good but shut down some years since. redshoes
Bayleaves at Ecclesfield is by far the best Indian. Both for food and decor. x
px200
i went to the koohi-noor at handsworth top last night,i saw a pint of carling on the menu at 3 quid, bit pricey i thought but as everyone knows you can't have a ruby without a beer,i orders a pint and clocks the bar man pouring a can into a pint pot....i didn't hang about i paid the extortionate 3 quid for a can and left.....i find that bang out of order
Hammerhead
definately the Mint Leaf in Dronfield - also do take aways - amazing food - never tasted an Indian like it. One of the few Indians that doesnt just taste like bog standard curries or something thats come out of a jar!!! Really flavoursome and can tell its freshly cooked to order - amazing! Agreed - excellent food and really good value. My fave is still Zara's in Crookes though – always superb!
