The swines at Stars were charging for GLASSES, not just bottles of water, at the last planet zogg. A girl next to me at the bar warned me they throw people out who complain. I could be wrong, but isn't it illegal to charge for water in bars and clubs?
Kthebean
I think it is, AG, if it's not it should be!! The quality of venues are quite important - anyone who says the venue don't make the night has a) obviously never danced the night away under the stars on a beach or in the woods, b) never been to kingdom Zero. is ok, a bit too small for my liking though, there's nowhere to just chill if you want to chat for a bit. Where is this stars?
Rushup
Stars is the venue next to the ice rink on queens road. It's pretty dirty, but not bad. Just the bar policy that stinks really...
Vini
Originally posted by Agent **** Hmmmmmm, I disagree about it having wicked nights every week, and it certainly isn't a great club in its current format. There's nowhere to wonder off if the dj is naff... Good bar service though. I would have thought, knowing it only has one room (thus 1 dj) then you would have to go to that club knowing who is going to be playing. Its not a club where you all go to get drunk and listen to 80s cheese etc... a la gatecrasher one... It's a specialist (how i see it anyway) club with nights other clubs dont have. mjlacey21
Yeah but going there knowing who the DJ is is no guarentee they will actually play a set you like.
