Rushup
Originally posted by Vini I would have thought, knowing it only has one room (thus 1 dj) then you would have to go to that club knowing who is going to be playing. Its not a club where you all go to get drunk and listen to 80s cheese etc... a la gatecrasher one... It's a specialist (how i see it anyway) club with nights other clubs dont have. Theres always more than one dj on. We went down for Krafty Kuts, who was pretty awful, and his warm up Jon Carter was much better, so it doesn't always work out how you want. I wouldn't say Zero was specialist, it caters for fans of music that is quite popular (nothing wrong with that). Though the owners will have love for the nights they put on, the bottom line is to get people through the doors to spend money, just like any other club. lillean
To respond to the original posting, me. Good place, some silly lads of course, but always been good for me. But I would go anywhere for breaks, including serbia by car.
scottf
How the **** can people say that zero is a better club than crasher??? Sorry but GC is a multimillion pound superclub with a £750,000 opus soundsystem that is one of the best in the county behind sankey soaps. Zero is 1 room thats had a bit of cash spent on it! You may not like the people that go to GC but that doesn't make it a **** club!

Rushup
GC1 reeks of commercialism more than any other club in Sheffield.

Henrietta
Originally posted by scottf You may not like the people that go to GC but that doesn't make it a... club I would have to say that it is in fact the people who attend the club who make it what it is. Or even, they are the very 'thing' which gives it 'soul' - not a multimillion pound superclub with a £750,000 opus soundsystem.
