Pubs are places where people go to have a conversation with their friends, not get deafened by music. If that's what you want go to a nightclub. foxydebs Posted May 12, 2010 Share Posted May 12, 2010 That's why I like Wetherspoons, because I like to drink a proper pint of beer in a nice quiet atmosphere so that I can hold a conversation. There are enough pubs in the city centre with a booming bassline in the background, it's good to have some quieter ones. Regards Doom Well said, thats one reason I go to weatherspoons and another one is they have gluten free food options and are helpful with these options whereas some pubs make it feel like you are putting on them when you ask for gluten free food.
