FOLKIN' SHEFFIELD XIX...

After last weeks triumph (what a night!) we have another evening of acoustic bliss for you all.

Playing TONIGHT are:

LAST TO BE PICKED

http://www.myspace.com/lasttobepicked

"Last To Be Picked” is the name given by Nick Henderson (formerly of The Speakeasy) to his latest solo project started in the early throes of 2008. A melodic and often endearing blend of acoustic folk and indie-rock, Henderson writes, records, produces and sings for all of his own music. Drawing on his past and a growing interest in the hidden human turmoil, he ignores the follies of those before him and latches directly on to the sheer insult that it is to feel pain, and sings praises of his own heartache. Forgoing the taboo of exposing his emotions, he instead paints a story of his mind and heart, and offers it with a cigarette in the other hand, and the smallest of smiles curving his lips.

Already, Last To Be Picked is garnering his fair share of attention as an avid and growing fan base is looking forward to more releases in the upcoming months.
