PopT
What a great man, not a knucklehead we get sick of reading about but a real hero, a man to look up to. You must be very proud and privileged to have had such a father. Please accept my condolences on your loss. G-d bless you. Popt

JMT1942
When Mike left school and joined Samuel Fox at Stocksbridge I had the pleasure of meeting him and taking him round the works. He was an inspiration then and we followed his fantastic achievements over the years. Your mum will probably remember me and my wife since we came across them from time to time in town and more recently in Meadowhall. In spite of all your dad had to put up with healthwise and later illness he was always cheerful and never let things get him down. Although we have never met you should be very proud that together with your mum you gave your dad a great family life. I can't close without saying that we knew your Grandad Joe...What a character. Best Regards Mike and Betty.
